Recent Work, Depending on Your Definition of “Recent”
In the past year, Nanomonkey has had the privilege to lend expertise to a number of interesting projects. Here are a few of them:
- The Philadelphia Center – For over 40 years, The Philadelphia Center has been offering an urban semester of experiential education to college students from the United States and around the world. Nanomonkey was brought in to implement a new website, created by designer Julie Colton, that marketed to potential students and connected TPC alumni. Launched September 2008. Services provided: CSS and XHTML templates, Javascript development, custom CMS development, PHP programming.
- Independence Charter School – Located in Center City Philadelphia, the award-winning Independence Charter School had outgrown its brochure site. Nanomonkey created a site that improved usability and made it easier for students, parents and teachers to keep in touch and stay up to date. Launched November 2007. Services provided: graphic design, CSS and XHTML templates, custom CMS development and training.
- The Philadelphia Area Center for History of Science (PACHS) – PACHS is a consortium of eleven cultural and educational institutions that seeks to promote scholarly and public understanding of history of science, technology and medicine. Nanomonkey was tapped to design and build a website for this new organization and has continued the relationship as PACHS adds new web services and content. Launched September 2007. Services provided: graphic design, CSS and XHTML templates, custom CMS development, information architecture, PHP programming.
